Our first introduction to the medical industry was in 1983 when our owners started working for Healthdyne Technologies, which was based out of Marietta, Georgia and later purchased by Respironics Incorporated in 1997.
        In 2000 we ventured out and opened our own DME company in Cartersville, Georgia. We dealt mainly with hospice companies and nebulizer clinics. While working in Cartersville, we noticed that there was a high demand for other DME companies needing their equipment repaired. We also noticed how many patients were without health insurance and unable to afford new equipment (wheelchairs, scooters, CPAP machines, etc), so our team decided to start working on a new company that specialized in selling equipment on consignment and doing repairs for other DME companies.  
          In 2014 we took a leap of faith and opened Affordable HME Solutions/DTR Enterprises. Our company is completely family owned and operated, we have a combined 40 years experience in this industry.
